Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort! If you are coming to Ski the Greatest Snow on Earth you come to either Snowbird or Alta. Located in Little Cottonwood Canyon you run into Snowbird first than Alta Ski Resort., Alta still does not allow snowboarding but has access to Snowbird for the skiers who want to explore both mountains.
SOLITUDE & BRIGHTON
Located in Big Cottonwood Canyon you have 2 great local type of resorts with a great little village at Solitude Resort and some limited lodging at Brighton Mountain Resort. Great Powder stashes and little traffic on the weekends. Also great Cross Country and back country access for the powder hounds in your group. In the Summer you will find fishing at Brighton only a couple miles from Solitude as well as incredible Mountain Biking.
ZERMATT RESORT
